INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
AND MODERN MANAGEMENT
MODELS IN THE NATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS SYSTEM

📅 April 16–17, 2026
📍 Frankfort Hotel, Tashkent

Summary

The event will focus on exploring national qualifications systems’ mechanisms, with particular focus on validation of non-formal and informal learning, and emphasis on the exchange of experiences and best practices with stakeholders from Uzbekistan, Piedmont Region, Italy, and Ireland.

Activisation of systemic solutions in validation of non-formal and informal learning are seen as an important instrument for responding to sectoral needs for qualified human capital, both in Uzbekistan and the European Union. Such national and sectoral mechanisms are an important enabler of access to relevant skills in the framework of the European Union Global Gateway initiative. The seminar is organised in collaboration with the Institute for the development of the National qualifications system of Uzbekistan, and the UNESCO skills development project, funded by the European Union.
